Honey Barbecue Chicken
This tasty flavorful recipe can be made as mild or hot as you want by controlling the amount of hot sauce used. The sweet honey flavor makes it a great dish for kids.
Ingredients:
- 1 can tomato soup
- 3/4 cup honey
- 2 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 2 teaspoons hot red pepper sauce (optional)
- 2 pounds chicken breasts, skinless, boneless
Preparation:
Combine the ingredients (leave the chicken breasts out for now) in a saucepan and bring to a boil using medium heat, stir occasionally. Reduce the heat to low and simmer uncovered for about 5 minutes. Pre heat the grilled to medium and place the chicken breasts on the grill. Next rub the sauce on the chicken using a brush. Turn the chicken once and rub the sauce on the other side. Cook chicken until juices run clear.
